Her advanced education has earned her distinction as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as well as a Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPAM), AAPC.
With extensive knowledge of health care compliance principles and practices including expertise in medical record coding, billing, electronic health systems (EHR) systems, and documentation requirements based on governmental and commercial guidelines, she contributes a current and in-depth knowledge of CMS for not only Medicare and Medicaid programs but with the federal contractors of RAC, MAC, ZPIC, and ADR.
Throughout Tina's career she has shown her detail oriented professionalism dealing with complicated regulatory issues of reimbursement, HIPAA Privacy and HITECH and the most important Federal fraud and abuse laws application to physicians: False Claims Act (FCA), the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), the Physician Self-Referral Law (Stark law), the Exclusion Authorities, and the Civil Monetary Penalties Law (CMPL).
